Petunia Skincare

     Today I will be reviewing three amazing products from Petunia's skincare! I was so excited to have the chance to review Petunia's Derma Roller, Moisturizing serum, and eye serum. The Derma Roller comes in a case for safe keeping. The lid stays on tight of the case so no having to worry about a kid getting into it or it falling out. I found that Using this all over my face and body area of course keeping away from my eye area or any area thats really sensitive gave me the best results. After using the Derma Roller which I would say use right before bed to prevent redness while going out I followed up with my moisturizing serum which I will go into details about in a little. I have sensitive skin they recommend using the roller on your face 1-3 times a week, I however used it twice and had no issues. As far as the body goes they recommend 2-4 times a week which I do 2. 

How do you clean the Derma Roller?

• Step one: Pour rubbing alcohol into roller container and submerge roller. Let both roller, and container, disinfect in the alcohol for about 5 minutes.
• Pour out rubbing alcohol and run container and roller under hot water.
• Fill sink with hot water, add a tablespoon of bleach, then place roller and container in leaving it in for about 5 minutes.
• Take roller and container out, rinse with cold water, and then dry it off. Place roller back in container.

Your Derma Roller should be cleaned after

about 3-4 sessions. If not at least rinse with hot water before each use.

How to roll:

• Before rolling be sure to clean the affected area.
• Continuously roll back and fourth with steady speed and appropriate pressure.  
• Roll the roller 10 times in four directions; vertical, horizontal, and diagonally. 
• Apply active ingredients and or skincare products for fast absorption into the skin.

     Petunia's Moisturizing serum was amazing! Due to my skin being very sensitive I was some what scared to use the derma roller. However after using the roller my skin was pretty dried out and my other moisturizer did not do anything for me. After using this serum my skin felt so smooth and moisturized but not overly hydrated I was amazed! I used this serum everyday even when not using the roller to keep my skin feeling and looking soft and hydrated. This serum has two of the best ingredients in it which makes it the best; Hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Hyaluronic acid has many great effects such as; plumping up the skin tissue to soften wrinkles and fine lines, plumping lips, reducing the appearance of veins, reducing dark circles and the appearance of rosacea, protects against environmental skin irritation, and a excellent post chemical peeling humectant. Vitamin C also has many great effects such as; stimulates the production of collagen, softens and plumps the skin, improves skin texture for a smooth and evened-out complexion, reduces pour size, and protects your skin from sun damage. Throughout using this product I never had any irritation, redness, or break-outs.

     Petunia's eye serum is one of the best I have used. I have used many eye serums all of which did some improvement but did not last more then a few weeks. Putting on this serum I made sure not to get it to close to my eye area but close enough. After using this product for about 2 weeks I did start to notice that my eye area in the morning looked wider which in turned made me look more awake, and I also noticed my eye area was plump making my fine lines and wrinkles un-noticeable. The scent of the serum is very very light nothing that stays around soaks into the skin very quickly without having that greasy feel like most serums leave. All in All these three products used together are amazing. A combination that will work for everyone no matter your skin texture or sensitivity.
